Published in August 2010 by the Commission on the Public's Health System in partnership with The Bronx Health Link and the Brooklyn Perinatal Network. The booklet reviews health care services that are provided in a culturally and linguistically competent way in NYC. During the transition to fuller insurance coverage under the new healthcare reform, it becomes even more important to focus on this type of health care provider and ways of maintaining the very important health care safety net.
