Barbara Hart, MPH, MPA
Barbara Hart (also known as Bobbi) joined the Bronx Health Link team as its new Executive Director in December, 2013. Barbara was Program Director for Bronx BREATHES, the Bronx Tobacco Cessation Center, from 2008 through 2013, and during the 1990s she was Director of the HIV CARE Network. Experience has given her a keen sense of public health issues in the Bronx and all of New York City. Her many encounters and collaborations with New York State and City legislators enable her to command a seat at tables for public health planning discussions. Barbara earned a Bachelor's Degree in Health Education from Herbert H. Lehman College of the City University of New York and a Masters in Public Administration with a concentration in Policy from Bernard M. Baruch College, CUNY. On May 31, 2013, Barbara graduated with a Masters in Public Health from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. Barbara's education and experience give her an understanding of community organizing, health policy and health administration and the resources for the work of Bronx Health Link in connecting providers, researchers, policymakers and residents for the better health of all.
Michael Ige, MD
Community Health Manager
Michael Ige is a Physician, IT Project Manager and Informatics Specialist with over 15 years' experience providing services within as well as outside the health care industry. He is currently the Community Health Manager at The Bronx Health Link Inc. where his duties revolve around the acquisition, processing and dissemination of accurate and relevant health related information.
Lucinda Doctor, AS
Lucinda Doctor, has worked as an Administrative Assistant for over 20 years and is a recent graduate from Hostos Community College with a major in Community Health. Her training and experience has propelled her to a position at The Bronx Health Link as an Office Manager in Public Health. Her career at The Bronx Health Link will assist the Bronx in reaching their Healthy People 20/20 goal. The 20/20 goal is to provide services for the Bronx residents along with others to live longer healthier lives.
